Putaway

Terms of Use

Last updated November 3, 2026

By buying or using Putaway you agree to these terms. They're written to be read, so if anything is unclear, email [email protected].

Your license

Where you bought it

Purchases on this website are sold by Polar as merchant of record, on our behalf. Mac App Store purchases are sold by Apple and are also covered by Apple's standard license agreement for apps. A license bought in one store doesn't unlock the version from the other.

Refunds

If Putaway isn't right for you, email [email protected] within 14 days of buying it on this website and we'll refund you in full. No reasons needed. Refunded license keys stop working. Mac App Store purchases are refunded by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your files

Putaway only moves files after you review the plan and choose Move, and it keeps a history so you can undo. Free Up Space moves items to the Trash rather than deleting them. Even so, no software is perfect: please keep backups of anything important (Time Machine is a great start). To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for lost or misplaced files.

The software

Putaway is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to Putaway is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer laws that can't be waived.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Changes won't take away a license you've already bought.
